Better than reviews I’ve read

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very nervous about this oven having read so many terrible reviews about the fuse blowing constantly. I’ve had no issues yet three weeks in. I’ve used the microwave and oven at the same time, no problem, really like the convection feature of the microwave and look forward to trying the air fryer feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a Frigidaire microwave-oven combination and this new one has a more quiet microwave. It heats up food faster than the old one. The microwave has controls that are intuitive but I like the easiness of adding 30 seconds. The oven heats up tast and does what is expected; no frills. I haven’t used the oven air fryer feature but need to figure out how to catch drippings to minimize cleaning.

Loving it so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to get rid of my old microwave/oven combo (Kenmore) because the oven started taking forever to bake, I had to bake things 2x the amount of time the recipe called for. I was very happy that this unit fit in the same cutout. And it works great! The oven issue is now completely fixed, with recipes requiring generally the exact amount of baking time called for in the recipes. Plus the microwave is more powerful than our old one too, which is a nice bonus. There are so many new functions I'm excited to try out, like air fry mode, steam bake, and no preheat. Not to mention the convection mode in the microwave. This unit will make Thanksgiving much easier with all the different options I have now, including baking in the microwave at the same time as baking something in the oven. Btw, they work fine if using them at the same time. The look of the appliance is clean and upscale. One of my favorite features so far is the bottom oven rack and how it slides out literally effortlessly! With my old oven I had to struggle to drag it out using both hands and it was still a fraught, jerky process. Now I can do it one-handed! It's super helpful if baking something like a cake, you can smoothly and quickly slide it out to insert a toothpick and check doneness.
At first I wasn't sure about the single LCD screen to operate both the microwave and oven and wished that the microwave had separate buttons, but after using it for a bit, it really doesn't take much longer to operate at all and I do appreciate the clean look of not having extra buttons.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend this appliance and am glad I chose this one. Will update if anything changes in the future.

Frigidaire Professional Wall Oven Micro combo

I wish the microwave and oven were separate pieces due to possibility of one wearing out before the other as both will need to be replaced if one breaks. The quality of the manfacturing for the microwave is fair with the brackets holding the rack being made from plastic and not secure inside. Not a fan of the pull down door but they all come that way now.

Absolutely Beautiful Oven with Several Cooking Options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the oven a week so this review is based on that time period (since others have had issues with performance longer term such as fuse blowings). I replaced this from an older Professional Series Oven/Microwave Combo (model FPMC3085PF) that had 2 fans and is no longer being made by Frigidaire. I have owned several Professional Series and Gallery Seriies appliances over the years in my past and present home(s).
Pros: The oven/microwave is beautiful. Simple to use. The most impressive thing is how quiet it runs with convection. It can barely be heard. It, however, has only 1 fan compared to my prior unit. I have cooked a few things with convection (crossants, sourdourgh, cookies) and all cooked well with mostly even browning. The oven and microwave can be run at the same time. I have not yet tried running convection on both the microwave and oven at the same time. The owners manual says this can be done.
Neutral: The microwave blows out heat and humidity to the front vent after each use. This was not the case with my former unit. Both my former and this unit blows out heat to the front vent from oven use.
Cons: The time of day is not visible while either the micowave or oven is in operation. Because this appliance also serves as a clock for the kitchen, it would be helpful to be able to consistently see the time of day. My former Professional unit always displayed the time of day while cooking or not.
The glide rack. Because the glide rack is thicker, it limits you to using tw racks. I ordered an extra handle flat 2nd rack to make a total of 2 flat racks and the glide rack but if you try to use all three, it's too tight betwen the flat rack and the glide rack and/or too close to the top broiler if you put the glide rack on the top. If you want to use 3 racks at the same time with ample space between, you may want to consider order 2 additional flat handle racks so you have a total of 3 of them for things like cookies to speed up the cooking process of these types of items.
The microwave wattage was reduced from 1200 watts on my former unit to 1000 watts on this unit.
Reliability: Operationally so far I have not had any problems but it has been a short period of time. I am enjoying the unit and hope it will continue to perform well and maintin its reliability.
Today I purchased the Professional Series refrigerator to replace my gallery and the 36" professional cooktop that are being delivered/installed tomorow. They are all attractive appliances. I would have also purchased the dishwasher but my cutout height would not accommdate and we just purchased their gallery dishwasher 1 year ago. It has worked flawlessly.

The convection function in the microwave basically gives you a double oven if you need it. My only gripe is that you have to press the “buttons” on the touch control panel really hard.
