Very Good Electric Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything works well on the electric range. The drawer underneath was not installed right when first delivered, but someone came out and installed it correctly in a few minutes. It has been easy to clean, the temperature stays at the assigned settings, and the instructions that come with it are easy to understand.

It isn't perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the overall look of this range, and it works good. I don't like the gap between the head and the cook top. It has plastic feet, the entire adjustment thread is plastic. And i dont like hiw the cooktop is sunken in lower than the edges, makes it hard to clean. And I haven't had it long enough to say anything about its reliability as I just installed it yesterday.

Smells like chemicals

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stovetop works great! The oven smells like chemicals when turned on past 350 degrees Fahrenheit. We understand there is supposed to be a burn-in period, but we’re several uses in and it still smells terrible. Can’t be good for our lungs either.

It’s true that new ovens can emit a smell during the initial uses as factory coatings burn off, but this should subside after the recommended burn-in period.
To help minimize the odor, we recommend running the oven empty at a high temperature (around 450°F) for an hour with proper ventilation, such as an open window or exhaust fan. 30" Oven

The oven is nice, just don't like how quickly it stains. I've used it 6 times and it looks like it's been used for years based off it's appearance. I clean it with soap and water, if there are any other recommendations that are known to work and actually take stains off please let me know. Chemicals used to remove stains such as are a hit or miss lately.
