It toasts fine. My maine complaint: the selector knob is so loose, a slight bump will change the setting. Needs to be tightened a little.

Lightweight and tends to toast a bit dark but you can adjust it. Cord is very short but I suppose it is a safety issue. I just barely could reach the under counter outlet. For the price, it is fine.

I have a mother-in-law of 91 age living with us. She uses a toaster multiple times a day. I believe she broke the spring trying to get her bread not to burn. I bought a very cheap toaster to replace this one, It has lasted for nearly a year now. We'll see how long it lasts.
