[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this toaster for about a month now. I primarily chose this model because of its sleek design and the fact that it's a 4-slice toaster. It looks great on the counter and toasts evenly, which is exactly what you'd hope for.
However, I'm knocking off one star due to the loose and wobbly controls. Right out of the box, the dials felt imprecise and flimsy, which was disappointing for a toaster at this price point. I'm not sure if we just got a faulty unit or if this is a common issue with the model, but the build quality in that area doesn't match the overall aesthetic or the cost.
That said, it still works well and looks good—just wish the controls felt sturdier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Cuisinart toaster because ours, a different model Cuisinart, was old and just looked worn out. This toaster does what it’s supposed to do, although it burns a bit too hot on one aide. And the plastic frame is not as thick as the old one. Good thing I got it on sale plus had discount codes so paid practically nothing for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a gift and tried it before trashing the box. It worked just fine for about a week and then I could not get it to hold the down position. I had to hit it at least 8 to 9 times before it stayed and would start to toast. I emailed Cuisinart but received no reply. I still use it but would not recommend it. Mornings are bad enough but pushing that lever again and again is frustrating. Adding to the frustration is not hearing from them.
