The toaster is great for what I needed; simple, no extra bells and whistles, does good job toasting, not very expensive. Previous toaster, an expensive one that I did not buy myself, was unnecessarily complicated. Developed electrical problems and became unsafe to use.

After using a toaster oven for decades, we upped our game with a dedicated toaster. It is so much better. We picked the Cuisinart based on a high rating by a national publication, and have been very happy with it. It is compact, but toasts everything we've tried beautifully.

I was just talking with my Father just yesterday how disappointed I am that I bought this toaster. It has burnt everything I’ve tried to toast on the lowest setting, and a large bagel doesn’t fit all the way down so the top sticking out didn’t toast. Very disappointing. Sorry I threw out my old toaster.
