I have used att equipment and xfinity equipment for over 40 years and the Netgear is the best WiFi router I have ever had. No problems at all

I’ve only had this a week, but so far no hiccups. The set up instructions for Xfinity are terrible, just incorrect, but I figured it out.

App claims there is a software update, yet nobody from any tech support will be able to help you. So you cannot use the app

You cannot manually update your NETGEAR cable modem or modem router’s firmware.
NETGEAR provides your ISP with the latest firmware and your ISP updates your firmware.
If your firmware is out of date, contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for assistance.
