Upgrade was due

I have always owned my modems/routers as the cable company gets enough of my money and no sense in paying front for something that pays for itself in a matter of months. Was having some difficulty in streaming and it was time to upgrade my network as the modem and router I had were fairly old. This combination works great. Install and set up was a breeze, as I have Comcast for my provider the special process made life easy and I was up and running in about 10 minutes. Not sure how different another ISP would be.

Great choice

This was easy to set up and we are up and running our full work from home set up easy. No stalling or loss of signal in any part of 1500sqft home. Streaming and multiple devices connected all have good speed. This is our first modem/router purchase and looks like we made a good choice.

Good Router For The Price

I purchased this router for a reasonable price and it came just on time and day. It took only a few minutes to setup through the Netgear app and we immediately got a Wifi connection. I would have given this product a 5 star, but I gave it a 4 star because sometimes the WiFi is unstable which is frustrating during times when my brother is taking exams or when I’m doing something important online. In addition, I can’t view the devices connected to the modem through the app because it says it is not updated and I need to go to the Netgear Genie site to update it. However, on the Netgear Genie site, there isn’t any notification or button indicating that I need to update the modem’s firmware. Other than that, the modem is good for the price and I would suggest this to those of you who want to spend less on WiFi. Thanks!
