Thought I needed just a new router. It turns out modem was dead. Purchase was best of two worlds. Sincere thanks to the salesperson (female) who recommended it.

This modem router has been great. Easy to set up, a fair price, and no more monthly fees. Only downside is they want you to pay for support on their product as an extended warranty.

Seems fast, but a bit tall

The modem/router seems to load web pages faster than my previous one which had failed. It is quite tall however and I had to rearrange shelves in my electronics console to accommodate it. Anyone buying it should check to be sure they have room for it.
