Easy Setup, Speed is as Advertised!

My internet provider is Xfinity and my plan is speeds up to 400 mbps. I bought this router to replace an outdated router which wasn’t compatible with my service (was getting ~160mbps download speed via Ethernet with old router, which wasn’t enough to handle streaming valorant, my main game). The Netgear Nighthawk was a major upgrade—and quite painless at that. Instructions for setup

The Nighthawk is just what our family needed to fulfill or wifi needs. It has great range, and a is delivering the speed we pay for to multiple devices on a consistent basis. As a family of six, we are very happy with NetGear products.

Enjoying the new modem/router

It was a breeze to set-up this modem/router. I lost the capability of using the phone, due to not have the phone port, as my previous modem had. However this is still a win for me and my family!

Netgear modem router

The modem/router work fine, the only issue was the setup kept sending me in a loop with a "Firmware update is needed" error which turned out to be false. This was due to using Spectrum as my cable provider.
