My internet was extremely slow. My cable company told me to try a new router. I found a refurbished router modem combo. It worked great. My speed increased immensely. No more buffering.

Bought this modem since our old one quit. Modem has good signal in our house and setup wasn't hard once it was connected to the cable company. Like the app for setup and devices.

Somewhat Difficult Setup

I like the modem router and the service it provides, however, the setup was a little frustrating. The startup guide does not tell you that you need to contact your internet provide first to register a new modem before you start the setup process. Also the startup guide wants you to use the Nighthawk app. I liked that this one has the app, however, the app is glitchy and didn't allow me complete it through the app. All in all I had to make 3 phones call 1 to my internet provider and 2 to Netgear before I was able to be fully setup. When calling NETGEAR I didn't wait long to speak with someone and they were helpful, just wish the included startup guide had more information.
