Great unit

I bought this to replace a Xfinity unit and it works great. Faster with more coverage than the Xfinity unit. Covers my 2700 sq/ft house easily. Set up was a breeze with the Xfinity app. Xfinity just increased the rental fees on my equipment so this will pay for itself in a year.

Purchased this to cut cable and become a streamer for our family. Besides the extra time getting Xfinity to activate the new router we are very pleased with the speed and range in our home.

Dont get if you have Comcast

The modem itself was easy to setup, I have no issues with it. But comcast refuses to send you a correct boot file with the speeds you purchased. I have the 600MB extreme tier. Now I had the rented XFi Modem and I got over 600 on both wired and wireless devices. But this modem I only get 250MB Max wireless and 400 Wired. Multiple calls to Xfinity does nothing. And It has to be comcast end not my wires as I simply unhooked my old XFI rented modem and directly hooked up my Netgearand activated then I got the huge speed drop. Searching google I found many users with this exact same modem and Xfinity {comcast} have the same issues with no fixes. I will have to return the modem and get a different model unfortunately.

Easy, fast and reliable

This item was so easy to set up. It took maybe 15 minutes and my home had internet that was faster than a modem I was renting from the cable company. It has been reliable so far and love the experience.

Recently upgrade my modem and router rental from Spectrum to the Netgear Nighhawk Combo. Unbelievable difference. Better reliability. Finally getting the speeds I pay for and great data through the app.
