I contacted netgear because I was having trouble setting up the system. they walked me through it and made the whole process very easy. My internet is working better than ever. never realized how bad my old modem router was until I got this system

Netgear was and is my go to brand when it comes to networking. bought this one to replace old surboard modem and Netgear router. after trouble with Comcast I was able to solve the issues with Netgar Tech support. very good service, follow up emails and calls. another happy customer.

Not what I expected

I replaced my 8 year old Motorola surfboard with the Netgear Nighthawk because I was experiencing slower speeds. I’m not at all satisfied with the Netgear Nighthawk, my speeds have been on par with my old modem and even slower at times.

Ethernet ports are wonky

The router works great. However, I have to unplug all Ethernet cables expect the computer before I boot my computer or the Ethernet to my computer doesn’t work. Thinking about returning it.

Super Powererd

The basic router I had from the provider was running at 12-30 mbps. After getting this, I was hitting above 300 mbps. This thing is super powered, I love it.

We purchased this to replace a discontinued Norton router and aging Netgear modum. It is a nice unit with a much smaller footprint than our older setup. It is also producing less heat and works very well.
