So far, we have enjoyed this product. We were previously using the modem/router supplied by the internet company, but our service was inconsistent. We finally purchased this, and it has worked much better. I work from home and need something reliable, and this has been perfect.

Nice New Features

The C7000v2 appears to still have a few bugs in the firmware, causing trouble. But the new capabilities are impressive, particularly the Genie App which runs separately on you phone. One main problem: WiFi is running out of channels, thus causing congestion. Probable Solution? Hold out for a WiFi 6 router and skip this model.

Simple to set up and great performance!

Set up to Xfinity took minutes. Download speeds in the 500 range, uploads over 40 with 5 ghz. I have a 3 level house with a basement and have no problems with good signal strength on 5ghz throughout the house. Router is located on the lower level. I highly recommend this unit; the best of any Wi-Fi gateway I have owned!
