We had been renting our modem/router from our internet provider for years. I like being able to access my own router and see what's going on. Setup was fairly easy, just had issues after a storm with the internet not working but that was a network issue not a modem issue. Only had it a few weeks but so far we are loving it!

My old router got hit by lightning so I got this netgear. It does a great job streaming my tv and Alexa and all our cell phones.

Bought this router to eliminate renting modemfrom provider. Called provider, whom set up the router on their end. Haven't had a bit of trouble with it. Had it for two years now. Great product.
