Great Range; needs restarting about 2x per week

Setting up the Netgear Nighthawk was easy and seamless when it came to connecting all of our home's devices. However, it tends to drop the internet and needs to be restarted about 2 times per week. A little frustrating.

Fast Internet

The Netgear is great, the internet is very fast and I've had better speeds since installing the modem/router. Multiple people can be using the wifi at once and all the traffic doesn't slow down the router.
It was also very easy to install and put together. It took maybe 30 minutes, and most of that was waiting for my internet provider to activate the router. The instructions provided by Netgear were very easy to follow.
My only criticism of the device is that it doesn't have the ability to combine the 2.5GHz and 5GHz networks (band steering) automatically. I know there are pros and cons to band steering, but it was nice to not have to manually select networks for devices

Provides internet perfectly

We recently upgraded to faster internet speed and had to purchase a better capable modem, and we were recommended with this. It’s been nothing but great, and with the app you can view which devices are on the internet and it can also provide Guest Wifi! Easy to manage and view your profile.

Easy setup

This was an upgrade for an old Netgear system. So far the difference in speed has been noticably faster. Setup was easy. I plugged it in and activated it with my provider and was ready to go.

Easy to set up and tech support was great. Just make sure you coax wire isn't on a split and is connected directly to the wall.
