Had Cox panarama and its pods, which it sold me, saying they would improve my connection. Bogus. Bought the Nighthawk in an attempt to improve the wifi reception. Kaboom! Dramatic improvement! Router is situated approximately 40 feet, with many walls in between, from laptop and TV. Streaming on Roku also improved.

Has great features, missing a bit of customization

Overall, this product has some great features. Port forwarding, uPnP, DMZ, and static IP addresses are all provided out of the box. My only concern is the web interface is not ideal for today’s standard. The web interface is very outdated. I think users being able to flash their own web interface/OS on the device would be neat. Besides that, it comes with everything I need it for.

Cut the cable and replaced rental equipment with Netgear Nighthawk. Savings will pay for itself in few months. I am NOT a tech person. Easy setup and connection. Works perfectly
