More Information Would be Better

Good product. Documentation leaves much to be desired. I was replacing an older model Net Gear Cable Modem Router and the install instructions did not explain that they were for first time users. In fact it was my cable provider - Xfinity support that finally made it all work. The product itself is working well no issues.

A good investment

I bought this to try and fix an issue but that issue ended up being in Comcasts end. However it is nice to compile my router and modem into one box, saves on space and has been much more effective.

Great router

Plugged it in, screwed in cable, worked great. Only pain was phoning up xfinity to get it recognised. And by pain, it was ok, it just took some sitting and waiting with the router details on hand. Router is faultless.

Great all in one system

All in one system they provide my whole 5500 square feet home with internet all three floors. Haven’t used the cable modem yet because all I do is stream movies, but I have been using net gear for years even while deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I had purchased 1 then another of the same brand and couldn’t change the name of our network or password. Their customer support was of no help. The nighthawks instructions were so clear I was up and running in no time.
