Great Modem Router Combo

Had other separate modem and router unites in the past. It's a great solution to combine these devices into one. Very happy with the performance and able to connect with 2.4G and 5.0G devices.

Overall Good Experience

Although setup was a bit tricky and fraught with some frustrations, like the phone app not being able to setup with device mac, the installation went smoothly. That meant that I had to call Xfinity to activate the modem. But in the end it worked.

This modem really good and it’s range is what I am impressed with other than it does what it’s meant for, going with 4 start rating for the Nighthawk app which is not covering the basic things that Network genie was doing . I had more control on the devices connected which I don’t have now with the new app. This needs to match with network genie or do better better than that. Rest all good.

THIS MODEM ROUTER COMBO WAS RECOMMENDED AT MY LOCAL MICRO-CENTER STORE. MY OLD NETGEAR ROUTER WAS OLD. MY OLD ZOOM MODEM DIED AND WAS NO LONGER SUPPORTED. I'M GOOD FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS UNTIL THE 3.1 VERSION.
