I think the gateway modem Xfinity offers the x8 is actually faster but it’s hard to tell. I can’t run a speed test from street to model like I could when I had the gateway plugged in.

Good modem router combo

I have to buy a new modem because the existing one doesn’t support the internet plan I have. This one is very easy to get installed. Wi-Fi is strong around my house. Even my outdoor cameras get great connection.
