easy setup

Got this cause my arris surfboard wasn't connecting to my apple express, so I opted to just get a whole new modem and router, and chose this because of the great reviews on the app. Had it for 2 weeks so far. It was the easiest set up, and the app is so straight forward.

I dreaded trying to install wifi recently, after a past experience with trying 3 different routersand 4 trips back to the cable store. I decided to purchase my own and forgo the cable company's router. Very easy, i

Easy setup works great

We have Xfinity and started having problems with the gateway they provided. I exchanged that one and we still had the same problems with WiFi and some of the devices we use in the house. I gave up on the Xfinity one and got the Netgear Nighthawk. I used the Xfinity app to get it hooked up with them. Then I used the Nighthawk app and everything is working great. No WiFi issues in my house on any floor. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a product like this.

Took me a while to figure out I had to factory reset the silly thing, even tho it was bought new, in order to actually get access to it. That was very weird. It was annoying, but it's been working quite well otherwise. Fast and gets better coverage than I expected.

I have found that resetting the netgear password needs to be done differently. I feel that there should be an admin pw to change the password because anyone could change your pw without you knowing because I tried to do this and I couldn't get into the nighthawk. We should be able to set our own admin pw to have authorization to change the pw
