I bought this unit to replace the horrible device that my ISP had for lease. This was the first time I've purchased a modem router rather than leasing one. It's been almost a year that I've had it in use and this unit has been solid, stable, and has never failed me once. I don't live in a large place, so I don't need something that provides vast wifi coverage, but all rooms in my 800 square foot apartment gets strong wifi coverage from it. I have a mix of devices that are wired and wireless and all connect perfectly each time with no speed issues caused by the device. I do believe that I made the right choice when I bought this Netgear unit and I would recommend to anyone looking to buy their own modem router rather than use what a cable ISP provides.

This was a replacement for a Motorola, that was constantly dropping signal. Easy to set up, fast speed throughout the house. Haven't had any issues dropping signal.

Improved Range!

I had my old modem so long I found comfort in the reach that it had. Lately it was just unbearable so I made the switch to the nighthawk AC1900. Let me tell you, it has been so much better. The corners where my wifi would disconnect or even the whole downstairs floor that was spotty, all have excellent signal connection now. It has improved the range in my townhouse immensely.

This router with the two bands is everything anyone with a standard family home would ever need. The 5G network on this router is strong, fast, and glitch free. For older devices, the 2.4 network is more than sufficient. This router will fit in l perfectly and will become an integral part of your family, satisfying everyone’s streaming needs.
