Works like a charm

Bought it cuz I’ve got Xfinity at home and, although the initially installation was a big finicky, once it was done, it’s worked perfectly. Highly recommend it!

I started noticing that my internet speeds in the house were slowing down on all my devices. I thought it was my internet, but I had 1000mbps, and Xfinity couldn't find any problems. They said it might be my router, which is supposed to run speeds up to 900mbps. I tried to contact customer service and get help, but there was not much we could do. I'm a little disappointed, because I bought this router to avoid having to pay xfinity every month for their rentals.

Better than what Comcast offers

Not a bad unit. Speeds are good and the dual channel Wi-Fi made all the difference. Definitely better than the modem/router leased from Comcast. My only complaint is that the Nighthawk app and software could use a bit of polish. Having to constantly cross reference MAC addresses since Apple devices will only display N/A and not give you an option to name them is the only reason I didn’t give it a fifth star.

The most noticiable difference from my Comcast issued modem was the quality picture on my tv when using Apple TV. The speeds with multiple devices streaming was noticiable different. Instal could have been a little easier, but customer service was good.
