Stopped working after 3 years. Customer care only interested to purchase tech support plan without trouble shoot my issue. I had to purchase new modem as customer support didn’t to any troubleshooting
So pretty much I had a wonky router/moden mix previously, which never kept up with my internet speeds. I have been paying for one of the high end Xfinity speeds (let's be real they sometimes are slow or lose connection due to them) however this time, it wasn't the case!! I later discovered that I was supposed to be getting around 800mbps but the other router was locked at 200mbps. I bought this
The thing about routers is they are best if you're never thinking about them. Meaning, they just WORK. That's what I can say about my Netgear C7000v2 - I don't think about it ever. It's trusty green lights are always on; well, there are exceptions, sometimes the ISP is down, but fortunately that's rare. I've used buggy routers where every so often - too often - they need a re-set, like they just don't want to keep working. If i ever buy another one, first look is at whatever Netgear's latest model is.
