The speed was not bad if the device is connected to the Ethernet. However the wireless is unbelievably slow and NETGEAR does not support this model via its app.

Good router

Overall it’s a solid upgrade. Setup was straightforward, and once it got going the speeds have been fast and consistent across devices. The only drawback is that it takes a while after powering on before the WiFi is usable, but once it’s running it works well.

Overall pleased with my purchase, however, had a difficult time installing it as needed to work with Xfinity as I was replacing their lease modem, which took some time to get in touch with the customer rep. Once we finally got it set up. It’s been working great. I would recommend the unit, just makes certain if you are replacing a Xfinity leased modem that you allow time to have Xfinity switch which modem is being used for Internet.

I love how easy it was to set up! The process was quick and simple, and the Nighthawk app makes managing everything super convenient. It’s very user friendly, and I like that I can control and monitor my WiFi right from my phone. Great speed, strong connection, and hassle-free setup couldn’t ask for more!
