I purchased my modem-router in 2018. It’s still in excellent condition and functioning flawlessly. It’s very rare, for me, to encounter a problem with my modem-router. My modem-router offers 2different WiFi: 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
There is an app that contains features in which I can control such as, creating WiFi password, adding guest WiFi and managing devices.
I love my NetGear Modem-router very much. It’s high quality, in my opinion, and is highly recommended.

Excellent speed and wide range

I’ve been using the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Cable Modem Router (C700v2) for a while now, and it has completely upgraded my home internet experience. Setup was very straightforward—just plug it in, follow the quick start guide, and within minutes I was up and running.
Speeds are excellent and very consistent. I can stream, game, and work from home without any interruptions. The WiFi range is strong enough to cover my entire house, including areas that used to be dead zones.
What I really appreciate is having the modem and router combined into one unit, which reduces clutter and equipment rental fees from my ISP. It also looks sleek and doesn’t take up much space.
So far it’s been reliable with no dropouts or overheating issues. If you’re looking for a solid all-in-one cable modem/router, I definitely recommend the Nighthawk AC1900.

1/3 the strength of my previous router. Couldn't even stream Hulu alone in the apartment unless in the same room

Good for the Colorblind

I upgraded my xfinity rental modem after experiencing internet connection issues a few weeks ago. I was unable to diagnose what the actual problem was because I couldn’t really tell what was wrong, and the colors used I found really hard to differentiate. With the netgear modem there are symbols and a legend for what the systems mean which made it very easy to see the exact problem. This made contacting my internet provider much easier since I had a better idea of what was actually wrong.
Would greatly recommend due to the ease of accessibility and the app makes installing and activating a breeze!

Super easy installation

I have zero tech skills and was certain that I was going to need to solicit help from a friend or my internet provider to get my new cable router modem installed. However, I just downloaded the Netgear app and it walked me through the set up quickly and easily. It is running great and I love it!
