This is a great cable modem with a good WiFi feature for a limited number of devices in use at one time. If there are a large number of descrete devices used at the same time, a router is also needed.

The first one I bought lasted five months. It needed to be replaced. The second one lasted two months. After one hour and 20 minutes with tech-support. They decided it needed to be replaced. And they would send me one. They never did.

I’m able to pick up the wifi signal up when I pull up in my car. Which is nice since I live in a dead zone for most phones internet.

I replace my cable company router with the Nighthawk and the results are amazing. My download speeds are faster and it reaches all the rooms in my house unlike my old router.

I bought this, first time ever, to replace the one I was renting from my cable company. It has been like stepping into a new world. No more endless buffering. No buffering at all. Picture is so much clearer. All of my smart devices work great. Even as a technology idiot, I was able to hook it up myself. This has been an awakening for me. Plug it into the. Plug the cable into the monitor. Now I have wifi coverage everywhere in my home.
