I bought this product because it’s a combination router/modem with channels it’s capable of providing 5G, if the provider EVER provides it. I’m glad I purchased it but the directions to update the firmware are terrible. Good luck.

Easy Install

I setup up on my own within minutes. Called in for registration they offered extended warranty for a small fee. So far working good and I finally returned my cable/modem back to xfinity which I’ve been renting for 5 years. In one year I’ll make my money back investing in a modem.

When I say I don’t have any knowledge of WiFi and routers, I mean it! That being said, this was so easy to hook up and simple to figure out! So glad I stopped renting one and bought netgear.

Wonderful Replacement!

We had our router and modem for several years; getting more into gaming with three people was staring to become too much for them. So when I saw this decent price for a combo, I was very pleased!
The set up was easy! They're very good about walking you through. My only issue is sometimes it'll still go down, though I'm not sure why. We have a very good internet provider, so it shouldn't be through them. But either way, leaps and bounds better than before, and I'm so glad it's both a router and modem. Helps with my wallet, and much sleeker and less bulky than two objects! And the design is ✨flawless✨!

Very fast even with many household WiFi Would of gave it 5 star but kind of a pain to get router part going from netgear support for cable.

In a place of no connection this is a life saver

So I just moved into my first EVER apartment this month. During the time I have been here I have literally been feeling like I have been living in a rental nightmare. Water not working correctly , washer and dryer unit does not work, and the electrical problems in this place made me feel unsafe to plug anything in a certain wall. I felt secluded in my room and thanks to this item it made my nightmare just a tad bit bearable. The internet is fast, the look is cute and because of this item it made my horrible experience here tolerable. Thank you netgear because with out you I would have felt like my world would have been crashing down without anytime of connection in this place, you gave me some sense of peace and normalcy during these hard times. Thank you.

Decent range and apeeds

Have had this modem/ router for a few years now. Covers my whole 1700. Sqft house no problem. It has been spotty at times, but a quick reset fixed it. My only and biggest gripe with it is that not one Ethernet port on the back works. They stopped working about 3 months after purchase, which stinks for me and trying to game .
