Easy installation, increased download speed. Did not have built-in service provider so connecting to internet was an additional installation step./

Upgraded to new modem router

After struggling with a router only and relying on Xfinity I decided to invest in some horsepower to enable acceptance of 400mps from cable. What a difference. Smart TV works great, Wi-Fi consistent and steady. Great device at the right time.

Our old separate modem and router were failing. They never worked all that well to begin with. This combo modem router works great and we have fewer cords to deal with.

Wifi is fast! It is nice to have the option with 2.4 and 5. Both have good range. Customer service is good and takes you step by step. Would recommend this modem/router.

My local cable internet company would not help me set this up, so I had to call Netgear for help. They were very patient and helpful although the non native English speaker was a challenge to understand at times. She was very knowledgeable and we finally got it working. I am happy with my purchase and gained about 30mps with this over my several year old moden/router combo....
