A great answer to a needed update!

I got a notification from my cable provider that my 6 year old Netgear modem and router should probably be updated to provide better service. I went with the Netgeat C7000v2 Modem router and it has been an improvement; I'm not experiencing the delays that I had been with the old equipment. And it was so easy to set up- it only took minutes to do, and I'm not exactly a tech whiz!

Disappointed

This modem worked well for about a year-it’s now year three. Our internet service is sporadic at best. We don’t dare use our wireless service for a work zoom meeting-it will cut out. We’ve had our internet provider come out and test the lines and have done numerous speed tests (all showing adequate service into the modem). We were told this modem does not receive enough frequencies to be stable. So after three years of fair service we need to replace it with a different modem to get consistent service.

Super simple to install. Only drawback (minor, really) was getting our local cable company (not Netgear) to switch it over. Overall, for the price, we couldn’t be happier.

This wifi router works great

We have used other routers prior to this Netgear unit. The others brands have all had issues and needing to be re-booted every few days. The Netgear router simply works great. Zero re-boots needed since the install.

This router is perfect...Easy set up..great performance ...especially since so much is tied to the wifi for daily living ease.
