Got the Xfinity monkey off my back

Easy to set up - I also bought the mesh extender to pull the internet to my deck with a nice strong signal - set up with Xfinity was a breeze - after in use for a few weeks I'm confident enough to put that rented modem in a box and ship it back to them. Great price - I ended up getting one on a warehouse deal.

Good Product With So-So Setup

The extender works well so far and has provided a decent boost of the TP-Link unit I was using. Setup was a bit of a pain - the Nighthawk app wanted to connect to my existing Nighthawk router rather than the extended, then would get stuck on a screen saying I needed to update the router firmware. After much searching, I discovered that I cannot update the firmware myself and it must be done by my ISP. Once I got it to connect to the extender instead, the process went fairly smoothly though again I ran into firmware update issues and had to use the website to update rather than directly in the app. After those initial issues, the extended connected easily and hasn’t presented any problems since.

Very easy to set up and manage. This Cable Modem Router defines optimized speed-to-value, and has ample capacity for work video conferencing, streaming video, live broadcasting, all simultaneously. Netgear does it again!

This increased my speed of wifi and based on my distance from the modem router, I have a full signal where I used to have just a couple bars.
