Okay product, hard setup

I struggled with the setup. The manual included is not accurate. I had to have Xfinity come install the modem, something never mentioned by Netgear but mentioned on Reddit. Then Netgear somehow autoset my security questions, locking me out of my account. Again, Reddit showed this was a common issue and I had to connect with Netgear Support to resolve.

Pretty Decent for the Buck

It is simple enough to set up for Xfinity. Most times speeds are great but sometimes not so much. It's hard for me to tell if it's my provider or the Modem. Only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because it randomly cuts off connection. I put it on a cooling platform to keep temps down but still does it. I wanted to do an update but the Nighthawk app doesn't show any available. I will say I have been running this unit since January 2020 so perhaps it's old.

Great internet speed

Bought this combo router/ modem since it's was not giving enough signal to all of our devices. Took a little too get set up but the intricate helped alot. Now the whole house has access with all of our devices. Our house is over 3000 square ft.

I purchased and installed my NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Cable Modem Router to replace a rented device. The Nighthawk app simplified everything. The additional ethernet ports allowed me to easily add a second access point device to further improve coverage in a dense residential property. I highly recommend it.
