It is performing as it should.The only problem was the installer (me) was unaware the new modem had to be registered with the ISP. A neighbor helped me with that and it was smooth sailing.

Great alternative combo modem/router than a rental

Great combo modem/router! Decided to purchase to stop paying for rental fees through xfinity. This equipment is working smooth free so far. Such an easy set up too!

I had a Aris modem and Netgear Nighthawk Router. During a recent powersurge, the Aris modem fried and the Nighthawk router survived and was operational. I purchased the joint cable modem and router product. So far, this product is working great.

I recently purchased the Nighthawk ac1900 as a result of my old Netgear modem/router shutting down. So far, I have been impressed with speed and reliability in connectivity. I am not a computer/wifi expert by any means; however, I have several devices that require dedicated wifi capabilities with minimal disruption. I have used Netgear in the past because of the reliability and ease of use. The only downside is that is NOT plug and play with Xfinity as stated on the box and with instructions. I still had to call Xfinity and go through the 2 hour process of setting up the modem/router with them. They needed information off of the device to
