Somewhat unstable

5G-wifi is definitly fast, but somewhat unstable (even within the same room with router).
The other wifi option is slow, but stable. Works well with xfinity self-setup.

I bought this unit to replace a Motorola modem/router that had been fried by a lightning strike. The Night Hawk was easy to install and connect and provides excellent coverage throughout our 3000 sq. ft. house.

FAST EASY CONNECTION

This item is not only an easy installation but a very fast connection! It's lightweight sleek design allows you to place it anywhere . The easy to read lit up buttons shows you right away that it works at a optimum speed. It also has a separate button for 2.4G and one for 5G. So if any trouble happens they show you right away. I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting a dependable high speed router and modem combo unit. 5 stars all the way.
