Everything is working great. Haven't had any issues and internet is better than it was with out 10 yr old router. Plugged it in, registered the router with netgear and our internet service provider, worked! Its soo much easier to set up a modem/router than it used to be!

Despite discussing with NETGEAR and RCN and being assured this model was compatible, this cable modem refuses to update and freezes whenever I try to access it. I am displeased.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quick User Friendly SetUp

The QR code and APP made set up very easy. We had WIFI up and running in a few minutes. This was our third modem/router combo we tried setting up in our new home. The other 2 were different brands that never worked although they were also on the Xfinity approved list. Love that we can manage this wifi account from an app with guest wifi also available.

Upgrading an older Netgear. Faster throughput via the modem. Faster wifi. More channels. Have devices that are capable operating on the 5gz freeing up the crowded lower band.

I bought this to replace my Spectrum modem and router and NETGEAR is awesome!! My internet is lighting fast now and it was very easy to setup by myself!!
