Great product for the price

I've had the router for 3 months now and have not had any issues with it so far. I chose this router because it uses a different chip than the other routers I was looking at and because it's fairly cheap. The problem with the other chip is that there was a defect that caused it to fail after a period of time. This router sports a better, more reliable chip. Installation was super quick and easy. I just plugged it in and called my provider and that was about it. Plenty of upstream and downstream channels means fast speeds even at peak usage times. The router offers 2.4g and 5g speeds for the devices that can handle it. Parental controls are a nice feature to have. Being able to control everything from an app on my phone and laptop is really convenient. I would strongly recommend!

The Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 Modem Router has been an excellent piece of equipment for me. I've just recently moved from one place to another and it was so easy and convenient to not have to deal with ISP technicians to remove and set up equipment. I could just call them and be done after the phone call. The signal range is much better than what I was experiencing with the modem routers I was provided with in the past. It's very efficient and I have had no problems with staying connected. There is a desktop app that goes along with Netgear too that I've found to be useful too.

No more modem fees!

I was tired of paying Comcast $11 every month for an outdated modem. I checked their listed of compatible modems and chose this one. I have no regrets.
The WiFi is excellent. I have modem/router combo upstairs. We have thick walls. But that hasn't stopped this modem. My WiFi signal is as strong downstairs as it is upstairs in my office.
My former Comcast equipment was constantly losing its signal. That problem disappeared when I replaced it with this modem. We've had a reliable signal, no drops, for one month now.
Best part - no more Comcast fees for subpar equipment!
