Bought this to replace the gateway I previously rented from
Comcast. It will pay for itself in a few months with no loss of speed. I encourage anybody that is renting a modem/router from their ISP to buy their own ASAP!

This modem is great with the different Chanel settings, and the app which let me know which chanel is bad to strongest. I would reccomend to a friend.

Great Cable modem router combo

I've only had the C7000v2 for two weeks. The impovements to my cable speed is night and day. No more bottle necks from the provide modems you get from your service provider. Also set up was quick and easy. You can also use the Genie app to monitor your connections. It is not compatible with the new Nighthawk app .but the Genie app is very easy to use. All in all i love the modem and glad i bought it.

After researching cable modems, the Netgear Nighthawk Ac1900 was my choice. No regrets as it works amazingly well with no need for extenders in my split level home.

Terrific Modem and Router

The Nighthawk AC1900 Cable Modem Router (C7000) has it all. The setup and interface is easy to use and has all the bells and whistles to satisfy our inner nerd. It has the best firewall I've seen in a consumer device. I combined this with an Orbi wireless mesh (in AP mode) and have a very strong and well protected network.

Pressing it hard!!!

I have 7 tenants that all share printing gaming all day and Netflix and some doing their university work all at the same time. This monster is the only one I have found that has not died on me and I press it hard everyday for the last two years.
