Great strength!

This is a great router! I did quite a bit of research and settled on getting this one. We live on the 5th story of our apartment building and I leave it by the window and then go and sit downstairs on the patio outside on ground level and still get full signal with full download and upload speeds! Very impressed!

Simple, but amazing

I am glad I purchased this product after looking for many different ones. The wireless signal is so good, I don't need any other access points in my 3-bedroom house. I have no issue with the speed either. In fact, we have 7 devices connected to it and 4 of them continuously stream videos. The configuration is easy and simple, it has basic configuration for non-tech people and also Advance configuration for more tech-savvy people. I like the parental control, and access control. They are made so simple with this product. I can control my kids internet activity through that. And last, but not the least, what an amazing app is Netgear Genie, you can do all those stuff I mentioned on your phone. So simple and comfortable. Thanks!!!

Best modem I've used so far, especially with the accompanying Genie app. The 5 ghz and 2.4 ghz channels make connections seamless through a large home. It was easy to install and easy to configure. If your home runs on multiple devices, and rely on streaming, this modem is powerful enough to supply each device with a strong connection.

Doesn't do what I want it to do as far as view what's plugged into the USB drive in the back because what I see when I do have it plugged in isn't what is on it if plugged into a normal drive on the computer.

Awesome router modem!

I used to have another brand modem connected to a Netgear router to cover my town home. My modem was constantly losing the internet connection, or getting really slow, causing me to reset the modem (and then the router) almost every day. ever since I got the AC1900, I only reset the modem/router once every 3 weeks, and only for a "refresh" since I'm not really seeing any issues with it. The only feature I miss (Netgear, take note!) is the ability to also create a VPN on my modem, which I has in the Netgear stand-alone router. Please add that feature in your next firmware update!!
