Net-gear versus Xfinity rented modem

Based on feedback from my teenage kids who use the internet for gaming, and homeschool we are giving this modem router 4 out of 5, the main reason for not giving a 5 was because it does not have a phone port, and the Xfinity one did, we had to cancel our home phone which we didn’t intend to. However this modem does work great with Xfinity we upgraded our speed to 1000 from 500 and with multiple computers, laptops, tablets, smart tv s this modem router has been great so far. The Xfinity router down load speed was slow, versus this Net-gear router. So far we are happy with it.

Took three hours to install. App is terrible and less features than my 5 year old NETGEAR device I replaced

Easy setup and smooth connectivity

The NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Cable Modem Router (C7000v2) provide a smooth connection from the service provider to my devices. It powers several small devices with little to no issues. The setup process was pretty straight forward. Love it! Works great!

I bought the Netgear modem/router to use with Xfinity. Connecting everything was really easy and straightforward, and everything has been working and connecting seamlessly! I like that you can customize settings with the Netgear app, and I love that the modem/router saves me money over time since I'll no longer have to pay a monthly fee to rent an Xfinity modem. It's definitely worth the purchase!

Hardware error had to return
