I think it helps that DHCP is automatically set up in the router, I would like to set up my own private IP as well, and I found it to be difficult to find a way to do so.

This product was so intuitive, that I had no problems installing the Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem Router. Great documentation and I love the added speed thanks to channel bonding!

Excellent Upgrade

When we were looking to upgrade to the AC1900 standard, we selected the C7000 based on prior reviews and specs. This router has fulfilled and exceeded all expectations. It gracefully handles 2 dozen plus simultaneous connections via LAN/2.4GHz/5GHz over a 300mbps connection. The router was easy to setup and we are able to monitor easily via the genie app. My only gripe about the "system" is the genie app. I would like to see some enhancements made in regards to remote management and alerting triggers. Again, my only complaint is about the genie app not the router.
