I'm not a techie, and this modem-router is fantastic; very powerful with a wide range throughout our 2400 sq. Ft. House. It easily handles all electronics at one time, and I don't think we can overload it.

First time I had my own modem to use with a cable company and I love that I can make all the settings and also that I'm not paying the cable company something every month for something that will be paid for ten fold. Works perfectly from the start!
