So I hadn’t had a good modem in so long and the fact that I learned that now these modems are 2 in 1 with the router as well is amazing. And it works so fast for the speed and capacity it gives.

Xfinity Gateway what?

We were getting frustrated with our internet speed and paying for rental equipment when I started to research buying our own. We found a great deal on this one which was super simple to install. We kept our same internet speed plan and low and behold download speeds are way faster and we got money back in our pocket. Very happy with our decision and high recommend Netgear.

Rock solid router

After trying unsuccessfully to use the standard modem / router provided by Comcast to service my smart home I research other more robust options and chose this router unit based upon other reviews. The Comcast router kept dropping WIFI devices once I installed over 24 smart switches. The Netgear router is servicing 63 devices without as much as a hiccup. I strongly recommend this hardware if you need a top notch router.

So far so good

We upgraded our modem/router to replace our almost 5yr old Netgear. The C7000v2 is easy to install (like any Netgear unit). And so far, I can tell the speed difference. We added more smart home items too so the upgraded wifi has been a big help. Hope our new Netgear will last for more than 5yrs.

I have absolutely NO complaints. I am by no means an expert with technology and this has been pretty easy to use and set up. I have been using this for over 6 weeks and have not had any issues. This was a great purchase!
