Replaced cable modem because of delays and streaming restrictions also to add more connections to to my network. Works like a charm, if you’re looking for a new modem drop your provider’s modem and go with this

Good, but....

I needed to replace my Comcast wifi modem which consistently dropped connections to my internet-enabled house devices. The nighthawk has eliminated those dropped connections, but the installation was painful. The app is primitive, and the written instructions leave much to be imagined. Which, of course, is unfortunate when you have many devices that need to be reconnected (which I did at least twice). Seriously, you need a seamless way to replace a wifi modem. How hard can this be to achieve. Okay, I accept it is hard, but in 10 years, or maybe next year, it will be routine, and if you do not reach that level of interoperability, you will not remain a major player.
