Range of c7000

The reason I only gave 3 stars is the range of the wi-fi. Suppose to cover approximately 1800 sq ft house, my house is only 980 and I have a weak signal just out side my sliding glass door, my cheap spectrum modem that I turned i hate to say had better range and it was 5 years old.

Xfinity Tech Recommendation

I bought this Nighthawk AC1900 to start Xfinity service in a new house. The Xfinity tech told me this modem was better than the xFi modem you can rent from Xfinity. Saving $14 monthly over renting. Will pay for itself in a year.

I should have got this sooner. Good range - no problems throughout the entire house. Nice software access and control, and ability to add a shared USB drive.

Great modem router combo unit

Unit is quick to set up, updates automatically, has enough Ethernet ports for my PC, printer, DVR recorder and one for my future smart TV! Love that it eliminates clutter and rat’s nest of cords by consolidating two pieces of outdated equipment into one (separate modem and router). Reliable so far, no problems, would highly recommend.

Works great and is very fast. Had difficulty setting up. Had to end up calling the cable company because the net gear online method was telling me it wasn’t compatible, but no big deal. Great range also.
