So I bought this a while back and I’ve had the worst luck in the world with the Nighthawk app and this modem/router. First off the Nighthawk out cannot update the firmware because on this particular model the ISP has to. Which runs into many problems

Router was very simple to setup and it’s provided great coverage in my house. I also game a lot and haven’t had any lag or connection issues!!!

I upgraded from a C6000 to the C7000v2 router cable modem. Its nice to ave the choice of band to use. I can use the 5k band at closer distances and the 2.4 band in the farthest rooms in the house.

Best Router I’ve Had So far

I’ve had the Comcast router for I don’t even know how long. I’m a gamer and I also have a smart home with 10 devices connected in my network at the same time. So far this router has held up very effectively and I am extremely glad I purchased this device and got rid of my rental. It’s a buy for me.
