I had to replace my Arris model router since I was frustrated because daily I had to reboot it. After searching I decided on the NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Cable Modem Router (C7000v2). I have had it about 2 weeks now and have had no issues with it!

We just upgraded from using Comcast modem, and paying rent on that modem. We couldn’t be happier with being able to make our own decisions in setting up our own modem without having to be told what we can or can’t do. The single strength is outstanding!

Easy installation and great speed

Device is extremely simple to setup. It does not have as many options as a independent router As for example QoS but it does its job pretty well. The old DNS parental control functionality that came with other routers has been removed and replaced by a subscription services
