I know this is just a router/ modem, but it has been a game changer. In my area where there is only 2 providers: satellite or cable. This router has allowed me to get the best service possible!

convenient... wish it had more range

this is a convenient and pretty powerful router/modem, and is definitely worth the price, especially if you find a good deal. i haven’t had any issues with the device that is hardlined into it via ethernet, but outside of that room the wifi can get pretty spotty. we don’t have wifi extenders or anything like that, but even the room directly below where this cable modem router is set up has issues connecting to wifi at least once a week. that part is frustrating. however, when it’s working, it’s great, and we’re happy with this purchase.

It was easy to set up. I could change the access point names and and passwords easily. Coverage throughout my house is excellent even with all of my HVAC being in the attic!

Great so far

We have had our Netgear for about a week, other than some hiccups caused by me touching the screen in the app while it was starting up and joining our ISP, it has worked beautifully. Our speed is constantly above 100 download. It works great, and this is the first week we have not had to cycle the router since school started 100% virtual. Worth the money, plus WiFi 5 - so any new devices in the next few years will maximize the speed offered.
