workers well but app can be annoying

Set up was fine but had to run the app set up three times before it worked. Since then it has been a great router

Since I have bought this my internet connection has not dropped one time. The range and how many devices that can be connected exceed my expectations. This blows my previous surfboard router out of the water. Will never buy anything but a netgear nighthawk again.

Great router. Great coverage they out the house. Previously had a Motorola and needed an extender. Not with a nighthawk! The app gives great functionality as well.

Possibly the best cable modem

I was hesitant to purchase my “own” cable modem for many years. After finding the Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Cable Modem Router, I will never go back to “leasing” equipment from my ISP. This cable modem router is quite simply the best. I get complete coverage in every single area or my 5,136 sq. ft. home, not a single dead spot, what is amazing, I also get coverage outside, in every corner of my 1/2 acre property, try that will a regular cable modem/router...

When I got not only a router but a modem because it’s just better to have our own than renting which is more money wasted, we got it set it up really easy just call and make sure or online than connected the modem to the router. Before I barely would be getting up to 100 barely especially anything 3 to 5 upload now im gaming at 150 to 200 download and 10 to 15 upload gaming.

I struggled a little to set it up when I personalized the name and password but I called customer service, reset it and it worked like a charm. Hasn’t given me any issies and the reception is good through my two story home. It’s a great and powerful machine. I recommend it!
