This is an ok router. Works well, I need to keep resetting. I think it’s due to comcast though.

I bought the AC1900 to replace my cox modem and save 12.00 a month lease. It actually works better than my old cox modem and the speed is faster! I would recommend it to everyone.
Easy to setup, works great with my SuddenLink account. Was having trouble with their supplied modem, between this modem and my Orbi Router, my internet is finally working.

Got this dual router-modem combo to replace my 7-year-old Motorola modem and Netgear router. The setting/basic installation was a breeze. C7000 was able to get my Cox cable signal within a few minutes and then it took about 10-15 mins for Cox to activate. The range is pretty good for my 4-bedroom, two-story home - no complaints there. It transmits 2.4 and 5 GHz wavelengths thus I set up my TV, Roku, and PS4 (that sits next to the router) on 5GHz, and other computers, tablets, etc. uses 2.4 GHz. Though, there is still an issue with the hard-wire connection. Initially, I had my Roku and TV hard-wired with the router that showed lagging/streaming issues. Netgear customer service was not able to correct it immediately and thus I decided to connect via 5 GHz WiFi that worked alright. The second issue is the WPS transmission. I have a couple of Smart switches (to control holiday lighting) and an HP printer that required a WPS connection. This router has some difficulties in getting those online. Otherwise, this is a perfect model if you are looking for DOCSIS 3.0 and a good WiFi range.
I have upgraded from an older Netgear router/modem in one to the NightHawk. I absolutely love this Modem as it comes with an app I downloaded that allows me to pause or delete devices right on the spot. I give it 5 stars
