The router/modem that spectrum gave me to use was just garbage when I got this my internet connection was better and faster compared to spectrum I have no complaints about the device as of now

Netgear Router Awesome

I had a Spectrum wifi router combo that was a nightmare. I work from home so a solid wifi connection is a must. My wifi kept dropping the network connection several times a day. I got upset and purchased the Netgear Wifi/router and modem combo and since I have not dropped a connection not just with my work computer but with all my devices. It was a win win?

Netgear C7000V2

We recently bought Netgear C7000V2 modem and router to replace our old device. Changing to this router improved overall wifi connectivity. We are happy with the device. It was a bit of a struggle to set up parental controls, but finally figured out a way to set up the same. Happy with the device overall.

I’ve only been using my netgear for a month with local internet service and have had no issues. The app is the best feature because I can disable one kid’s connection to it without having to change the password and giving it to everyone else. Also it allows you to do a guest access. Love it so far
