Netgear Nighthawk modem/router

I was having issues with range and speed using the combo modem and router provided by ISP. A simple upgrade to this combo made a world of difference. I now receive near advertised speeds of ISP even on wifi. At further range, the mps does drop, but I am able to to receive service in both levels of my home.

This is by far , one of the best modems I have used in my home. I have been renting for years from the cable companies and said enough is enough. I went online and found great reviews for the NETGEAR Nighthawk. I am absolutely thrilled with the ease of installation performance. I am a NETGEAR Customer for Life!

Worked great at first but is only DOCSIS 3.0. Now that firmware has been upgraded, I also need to upgrade again to a modem that has DOCSIS 3.1

Very disappointed with this modem/router. Not as fast as my old 5 year old Surfboard. Returned and bought an updated a surfboard.
